Mon: Harel and Sodastream lead TASE rebound

Leumi rose on the day's biggest trading turnover but Cellcom and Shufersal slipped after reporting fourth quarter results.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange rose today. The Tel Aviv 35 Index rose 0.96% to 1,438.36 points; the Tel Aviv 125 Index rose 0.95% to 1,310.13 points; and the BlueTech Global Index rose 1.15% to 361.36 points. The TelBond 20 corporate bond index fell 0.01% to 342.72 points. Trading turnover was NIS 1.31 billion.

On the foreign currency market, the Bank of Israel set the shekel-dollar representative rate unchanged from Friday's exchange rate at NIS 3.491/$ and set the shekel-euro rate up 0.707% at 4.333/€.

On the market, Sodastream International Ltd. (Nasdaq: SODA; TASE: SODA) rose 3.30% for the biggest rise on the Tel Aviv 35 Index. Harel Insurance Investments and Financial Services Ltd. (TASE: HARL) rose 3.01% after reporting strong fourth quarter results. Bank Leumi (TASE: LUMI) rose 1.55% on the day's biggest trading turnover and Mizrahi Tefahot Bank (TASE:MZTF) rose 1.85%. NICE Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: NICE; TASE: NICE) rose 1.80% and Opko Health Inc. (NYSE: OPK; TASE: OPK) rose 1.79%.

Shufersal Ltd. (TASE:SAE) fell 1.46% for the biggest fall on the Tel Aviv 35 Index after reporting fourth quarter results. Cellcom Israel Ltd. (NYSE:CEL; TASE:CEL) fell 1.41% also after reporting its results.
